I just noticed that right out in front of my apartment is a sign that reads, “Welcome to Bridle Trails”. So I guess I live in Bridle Trails. I’ll have to find someplace to board my horses though as The Lakes does not have stables.
One person I know, who shall remain nameless to protect the guilty, originally thought that it was Bridal Trails, but it is not. There aren’t any brides galloping through the woods. And thank goodness for that. A bride is that last thing I need, especially one that eats hay.
My cable service is up and running. I’m loving my new washer and dryer. I feel like I’ve been doing laundry non-stop since I got here. The laundry machines have the greatest and most friendly sounds. They have a wonderful hello sound when you start intearcting with them. And it’s a joy to hear that my laundry is complete. It’s like I have a furby doing my laundry. “Robot!!!”
I was unable to work out again today. Michal could not get out of his parking lot because of the snow. I don’t like to complain on my blog or post anything too negative but not being able to work out is driving me crazy. Plus, my diet has gone to hell because of the move. I went to the store today and basically bought whatever it took to get 300 grams of protein a day while things are still in transition. Cheese, mayo, whatever it takes to make the protein tasty. The real problem was I had just stopped eating almost entirely, which is truly the worst thing I could do. I definitely am also suffering from a bit of cabin fever due to not feeling very safe driving and staying home. I can’t wait for the weather to warm up.
