Last night I went to Mud Bay Granary to experience the best in PCC and REI style upscale pet shopping. Just like PCC and REI, the interior is very “hand made” but the products are fabulous and highly priced. I actually got him a bed there that he loves. It’s fleece and very soft, and most importantly it has no buttons, foam, or zippers. They have some other nice beds, but they are very expensive.
I got the “bargain” bed, but the guy said if it didn’t work out I could just bring it back. Very Nordstrom of them. Apparently they also liberally give out samples of the food they sell so you can find out what your dog likes best before committing. At least you get service for your money. I may choose my dogfood there and then order online.
All the brands of dog food there come in beautiful full color glossy (literally) packages. Some brands hint of royalty. It’s all organic. But I had to laugh that one of the brands was Dick Van Patten’s Natural Balance. Nice, maybe this will help Kody get a guest appearance on The Love Boat. If you haven’t been, you have to go. You’ll want to move in.

Finn actually eats that very dog food. It’s very low in fat – which is important for the Minis…it is also void of pesky allergen causing ingredients as well.
