I’m tired, and finally, the dogs are being tired appropriate amounts for dogs. They’re both asleep right now. Kody didn’t feel like sharing the couch with Flex. He chose the oldest of his beds to lay on instead. He doesn’t really fit it anymore, but he’s like a little kid with his old toys and doesn’t want to give it up. It’s all good because Flex needs the extra love of the couch because Kody gets to sleep in the bed.
I’m walking so much my feet and leg muscles are really sore. Luckily today I was able to avoid Bridle Trails because I had lunch and dinner plans. So we walked through the Microsoft campus twice. It’s not necessarily my favorite place to walk, but it’s very clean compared to the other options around here. I really do appreciate that.
Kody and Flex are so alike and so different. Kody is higher energy and is interested in playing with Flex. Flex is more easy going and likes to focus on a toy. Flex marks more peeing multiple times per outing, but Kody just does one long one. Kody has a loud sharp bark, Flex has a more raspy quiet bark. But they both bark at the exact same things and like to bark a lot on walks. They look so similar that even with different collars on I often get them mixed up at first glance. There are many times I’m looking and can’t figure out which is which if they’re not still. They both love to give kisses, but I think that’s true of all dogs.
