My DVD-NS611HP is preset to widescreen. It show all the movies on widescreen regardless of their actual format on DVD, never mind the correct menu setting 16:9 for my plazma TV Phillips. It seems highjacked the TB’s automatic setting to widescreen. Bottom line – I can’t see anything right other than widescreen DVD.

try using yukon gold potatoes for even better hash browns. When we lived in Germany I bought some french fries at a sidewalk stand and commented on how good they were…………the man said they are good because we only use yellow potatoes and save the white ones for the pigs……………Seriously, for fried potatoes yellow is best!!!!

A helpful hint for when heating milk on top of the stove……..rinse the pan first with cold water to prevent sticking!! I like cauliflower and may have to try this!

Yeh it sometimes doesn’t make any sense. We got into Commander in Chief on iTunes only to find they cancelled after one season. Why do they do it? Anyway The Wire rocks.

One thing that’s weird is getting used to being able to move your finger left and right like that. Also, using to fingers left and right to move back and forward pages in a browser is bizarre, but I’m kind of getting used to that.

Our fingers aren’t used to moving side to side like that. Scrolling up and down is fine, but side to side is odd.

I am having a tough time really getting used to it. I like the scrolling and side to side, but moving it is clunky to me.

The writer’s of Flash Forward are a bunch of racists. They added an Iranian woman to the show who just happens to be a terrorist. Thanks for creating sweeping generalization that all Middle Easterners are terrorists and making Iran look bad when they are already having problems with their government. Why can’t this show have a white woman be a terrorist? White people kill and hurt peopele, too. Thanks for increasing racism and portraying a negative image of Muslims. You suck, Flash Forward. (I only know about this because a family member told me, I personally don’t want to waste my time.)

I love how everyone states that they turned it off in the middle of an episode. I have Tivo’d right now, I just paused it to write this and I’m about to delete it. All the acting is just plain awful. Characters you dont care about, plot lines that dont go anywhere. AWFUL!!! 6 hours wasted.

After I wrote this post, a friend of mine agreed with me that it was horrible but couldn’t stop watching out of curiosity. He wanted to see “Charlie” from Lost. This week, he told me he stopped watching half way through the episode, and would watch no more. He just couldn’t stand it anymore.

What I don’t understand is how the writers or someone couldn’t tell it was a horrible show. It’s not just kind of bad, it’s obviously bad.

I used to watch – tried it today – absolutely, no more. These are the dumbest girls I have ever seen. They have terrible voices, try to imitate the laughs of the previous girls, and frankly, are just downright stupid and obnoxious.

It’s funny that you mention pronunciation. Alex always pronounces New Orleans as New Or-lee-ans, which is not the preferred way. It should be New Or-lins, and the guests always say it that way, even though Alex is saying it his way.
