Obama Lifts Ban on Embryonic Stem Cell Research
Barack Obama has lifted the ban George W. Bush placed on embryonic stem cell research. Basically this means people who are doing this are able to ask for money from the government. Haven’t they come up with ways of doing this without embryos since the ban? If so, this isn’t a very big deal.
The National Budget – Filibuster Proof
In case you aren’t aware yet, Barack Obama will not have the same problems with the republicans that he had with the stimulus bill. There is some way they can do the budget that is filibuster proof and then they only need a majority instead of 60 votes.
