Haven’t they come up with ways of doing this without embryos since the ban? If so, this isn’t a very big deal.

The Justice Department has postponed its case against baseball hero Barry Bonds. A little inside information here that most people wouldn’t know. George W. Bush had it in for steroids. I think it was actually his love for baseball that fueled this, not so bad. George W. Bush made a number of non-steroid performance improving substances illegal as well. But what is bad is that George W. Bush used the same lazy tactics that he did with everything else. He started ignoring people’s rights.

Yes steroid producers and dealers were getting busted left and right. In some ways he was successful. But when it comes to high profile cases, such as Barry Bonds’ case, where people can actually afford lawyers and people actually pay attention, the evidence is totally inadmissable because they used illegal wiretapping and other totally illegal means to gather evidence. Sure when you’ve got a guy with a warehouse full of juice, there’s enough evidence to throw him in jail for a few years even when 95% of the evidence is bad. But when you’ve got one person, who buys his steroids very secretly, and takes them in the privacy of his home, how do you get any evidence against him? Well you have to spy, illegally, and totally invade his rights.

Barry Bonds will get off. And good for him. And good for us all. Go and enjoy a baseball game and hope steroids come back soon, because the games are going to get pretty boring.

Dusty Fago was the executive director of the CIA, which is 3rd in command, under the George W. bush administration. He was sentenced today to 3 years in jail for fraud. But he has such a laundry list of corruption, I had to write about it.

For 3 years while working for the CIA Dusty Fago hid his friendship with a man name Brent Wilkes. During this time Mr. Fago arranged for Mr. Wilkes to receive millions of dollars worth of business from the CIA.

Brent Wilkes notable achievements include bribing former congressman Randy “Duke” Cunningham with items including antiques, boats, cash, and prostitutes.

Back to Dusy Fago. He also arranged for a six figure job at the CIA for his mistress.

Conveniently for him during this time his family was being housed abroad so they wouldn’t get in the way. Who was paying for this? The taxpayers.

Dusty Fago wanted to run for congress. Interestingly, he wanted to run for Duke Cunningham’s seat, representing San Diego.

Brent Wilks and Duke Cunningham were both already in prison. Today Dusty Fago joins them. Gotta love that George W. Bush legacy, it just keeps getting better.

While I want us to get out of Iraq, I understand that we’ve destroyed Iraq and that the country needs to be fixed. That’s going to take time. Timelines were just a way to get George W. Barack Obama is moving us out, and I’m sure he wants to be out as quickly as possible, so I’m not worried about it.

I am for investigation into the previous administration and potential criminal charges being brought against offenders. However, I think liberals need to be careful here. I will admit to some bloodlust, but I think that the democratic party can’t afford to come across as the opposite of the republican party.

I want justice and only justice. I don’t want someone questioning George W. Bush on cocaine use or some extra-marital affair. I want fair and even handed justice that I would expect any American to want, democrat or republican.

As I sit here watching Rachel Maddow, she’s a bit too eager and a bit immature in her coverage of this topic. She just interviewed Nancy Pelosi who is also for investigation. Rachel made it out to be this big news, but it isn’t. Calm down Rachel, we all want justice, but it feels like you want to go beyond justice, and you shouldn’t, at least not as a matter of policy.
